So some time during the summer I noticed a “spinner” in my right eye. Eventually the right eye started to get dimmer. Almost like I had a sunglass lens that was smeared over the right eye. So I though I better call the ophthalmologists to take a look at that eye.
It was later in the afternoon, I got in with the Misses doctor. The practice is run by a husband and a wife. My regular doctor is doctor Bob. He was out that day but his wife was able to see me.
After many machines and many test Dr Cecelia wasn’t sure what was going on. It looked like the macula of the eye was swollen. Could be a blockage in the arteries to the the head. She ordered an ultrasound of the neck to rule that out. She also set me up to see a retina specialist in a couple weeks to take a look at that eye. She was just not sure what it was. She ordered a doppler on the arteries in my neck, and set up an appointment with a retina specialist.
